From the moment I first set foot in a barn, I knew that horses would shape my life. Over the years, they have become my greatest teachers — showing me patience, intuition, and trust. What began as a childhood passion evolved into a lifelong profession centered around training, education, and exploring the depth of the human–horse relationship.
As a professional horsewoman and equestrian trainer, I have dedicated decades to the study and practice of horsemanship — from traditional riding disciplines to liberty work and behavioral training. My approach emphasizes communication, connection, and respect for the horse as an intelligent, emotional partner.
Through years of working with horses of all types and temperaments, I’ve come to believe that the most profound lessons they offer are not found in the show ring, but in the quiet moments of mutual understanding and trust.
This philosophy led to one of the most meaningful collaborations of my career — the co-creation of Romeo Roadshow with actress and environmental advocate Daryl Hannah. Together, we envisioned a program that would share the joy, healing, and wonder of horses with people who need it most.
What began with one extraordinary little horse named Romeo blossomed into a growing movement — now joined by his partner Ziggy — bringing comfort and connection to veterans, seniors, and children across Southern California. The program has been featured on NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, Inside Edition, and KCLU Radio, reaching hearts across the country and inspiring others to recognize the powerful emotional intelligence of horses.
Beyond the Roadshow, my work continues to bridge the worlds of performance, education, and therapy. Whether training horses, mentoring riders, or developing creative outreach projects, I remain committed to advancing humane horsemanship and exploring how the human-equine bond can uplift and unite communities.
My purpose remains simple: to elevate the standard of care, compassion, and creativity in how we work with horses — and to inspire others to discover the quiet power that comes from connecting with them on a deeper level.
As I look ahead, I feel a growing responsibility to help preserve the place of the horse in our modern world. No other animal has contributed more to the evolution of humankind — in our history, our culture, and our hearts. In an age increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and technology, I believe our connection with horses is more vital than ever. They remind us of what is real, what is natural, and what it means to be fully present, compassionate, and human.
